HI GAVIN!
(hehe, inb4wex)
Welcome ^^ what kinds of games do you play? Do you like onions? What's your opinion on whether robots [can/should/will be able to] love?
Hello, sar. With your consent, I would like to ask a few questions, before I can ascertain your Thugg status:
- Your stance, as brief or otherwise as you please, on the importance of jurnlizms 4 gaemz
- The first game you can remember that amazed you
- Arachnid porn: healthy?
I'd like opinions on:
1. South Park yay or nay
2. Apple vs Android
3. PC gaming vs Console
4. Videogames as an artform
What is your opinion on the subject of grass?
If you could be any perfume or cologne, which would you be?
If Andrew Jackson came back from the dead and challenged you to a duel, the winner of which would be able to eat the other's heart and gain their power, what one tool, weapon or otherwise, would you want to have at your disposal during the fight?
Related: If Andrew Jackson won, what power would he gain from eating your heart?
HI GAVIN!
(Also, inb4wex :P)
Good day sir!
1) Can there be only one?
2) How do you like eggs and steak? (If you are vegan or other feel free to skip)
3) What's an acceptable time for dinner?
Yay! Many questions. Ok here goes...
Faye Lanks:
1) A generic everything really, I do like a good mix of retro with modern action-adventure (as vague as that is). The only I've never got into/haven't had the money for is MMORPGs. I'm also a bit of an RPG noobins, but Fallout 3 and Mass Effect changed that.
2) Yes. But grilled, always grilled.
3) Robo-love is interesting. The last taboo will be robo-human relations, I think.
Mikular:
1) Jurnlizms impurtent 4 da L33Ts onlyz. I think Games journalism is increasingly important as games move definitively into the "mainstream" consciousness. If journalists can make gamers and the wider public more informed in their choices, because its a rather expensive hobby all told, then its job done really.
2) Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Megadrive. My first game, and still my favourite. I attempt to complete it (with all chaos emeralds) about three times a year.
3) If Arachnid porn is available, then the internet continues to amaze. I, however, am terrified of spiders.
Adushan:
1) I say yay, but I ought to explain it. I actually find a lot of South Park more miss than hit, especially recent seasons. When it gets it right, it really gets it right - Season 8 was pretty awesome if memory serves. But I still like it, which is more than can be said for recent Simpsons episodes.
2) I'll out myself as a WP7 user so perhaps neither. I did have an Ipod Touch but it was so slow it was painful - some decent games though. My brother assures me Android's where its at though.
3) I must admit I'm firmly in the console camp but it wasn't always this way. I still PC game from time to time, but not the hours on end I used to. I guess its the convenience, gaming from the sofa, no need to spend on upgrades, etc. I am nostalgic from some mouse and keyboard action, if anyone cares to buy me a high-end PC.
4) Absolutely. A few recent examples spring to mind like Limbo, and Rayman Origins - I guess those are more 'visual' in their credentials, but then I think of games such as Braid, even Half-Life 2, that have produced stronger reactions from me, than anything that is traditionally considered as an artform, like a film or painting.
Meagan Bickell
1) Well, having moved to the city from countryside, I miss the green fields... Unless you mean the other grass, which I personally have never tried but have no problems with anyone using it.
2) Damn, good question. My knowledge isn't extensive, but the Paul Smith aftershave I have is pretty nifty. I'll go with that.
3) The eclipse scythe from Ninja Gaiden II. Having completed the latter yesterday after many hours/months/years of trying, this is something I want with me at all times.
4) My incredible wit, charm, and intelligence, the lucky bugger. I'd say he'd gain my height (6'3" - slightly taller than he is know, and a bit more than the average).
Hello Sean. Can I ask what 'inb4wex' is? Is Iz stoopid?
Gcndavidmn:
1) Always room for two.
2) I eat lots of things with eggs in them, but eggs scrambled/boiled/maimed I don't do. I'll take that steak though.
3) Latest 8:30pm - special occasions though. Earliest 5:30pm. Not a big window.
Hope this helps.
@Gavin - Glad to see you here! Also how did you discover Nukezilla?
Oh and I believe the inb4wex means 'in before Wex', who is Wesley Gaddis aka Wex. He's usually the first to welcome new people.
I started a gaming blog on Tumblr and noticed that NZ was looking for writers, something I'm really keen to get into. So yeah, I must admit I'm not familiar with all the ins and outs of the place, which will come in time!
Ah, that clears that up
HOT PISS I MISSED ONE! HI GAVIN!
Oh wait different Gavin... Still, HI GAVIN!
Hi Wesley! *waves frantically*
